How can God becoming a man prove that man cannot be God?

If Satan erted that a man "can be like God," that is, a man can be Sovereign God on earth, then how would God solve the original issue of Eden by coming down and being a man himself? Wouldn't the trinity contradict the issue of Sovereignty? (Genesis 3:5)
