My 11 mo old corgi has been vomiting - 1st clear, then yellow, now green bile for 36 hrs; suggestions?

my daughter was sick w/the stomach and respiratory flu - can our dog have it now? he is vomiting and has diarrhea. can i treat him at home and/or when do i rush to vet?
