Hello,I'm living in an apartment.whenever I open my laptop,it showed it is connected with an unsecured?

wireless internet network.though I belive its not morally acceptable to run unsecured wireless net.but the problem is though is shown my PC is connected with unsecured wireless net with good speed&good strength but I cant open any web site by that connection.Whats the problem?
