How would you write a thesis for a comparative review that uses two biographies of different people?

The two books are biographies on: Hideyoshi, the man who unified Japan in the 16th century and ended the warring states era. And Genghis Khan, the man who ruled the largest empire in the history of the world. Ii've never written a thesis about a biography before, let alone two. please advise. : )
