Hydrocephalus and thinning hair. What can be done?

Ok so I have hydrocephalus and have had surgery over a dozen times. My hair was fine before I had surgery at age 12 but I have noticed that my hair is getting really thin due to the amount of surgeries I've had. Is there anything I can do, any vitamins I can take or regiments I can do to help thicken my hair?
