Which curling iron for an angled bob?

I'm 21 years old and I have an angled bob. The back is long enough that it hits the nape of my neck and the front goes just ped my chin (think Victoria Beckham or Rhianna). I'm looking for some options in styling it and thought about curls/waves, but I'm unsure which size curling iron to buy or if I should get rollers instead. I don't want the curls to be so tight that it looks like an afro, but I don't have hair that's long enough for my 2" curler (it just flips the hair). If someone could suggest a size and perhaps throw in some pictures of examples, I'd really appreciate it.
