I have been trying to loose weight lately. I am 16, 210/11 pounds and 5'10. Husband Has Schizoid Personality and I need to see someone who treats this?

After 2 days of neuropsychological testing my husband was diagnosed with a Schizoid Personality Disorder/SPD We have seen some counselors that "poo-poo" the diagnosis claiming that people should not be labeled I think they aren't really familiar with this diagnosis and that doesn't help AT ALL! Can an internal combustion engine run on hydrogen peroxide?

Yes in theory , You could run an IC engine on hydrogen Peroxide ( HP). This would run more like a diesel engine than a gasoline engine. HP would require a Platinum or Palladium Catalyst in the cylinder head to make it combust this is the only way you can get it to burn. HP is not combustible ,but is a great oxidizer in a rocket engine. The only why to use it as a fuel is to use a catalyst to break the chemical bonds. I feel you would have better luck trying to make a Rotary engine run on HP rather than a piston engine. I suspect it was used on U-boats as an oxidizer in addition to diesel fuel, much like the Russians used liquid oxygen. This adaptation will let you run your main engines while diving under the water. I believe a lot of torpedo's use this principal as well.

Am I terrible for thinking my mom can still live alone?

My father died last fall, and my Mom has been staying with myself and other family because her house is in a remote, rural area and we don't feel she is safe there. However, she is very healthy, still drives, is still very mentally alert, etc. In fact, she only retired from her full time professional job two years ago to care for my Dad while he was ill. I think Mom is getting really bored and depressed living with us in our houses, and she seems interested in the idea of getting a nice apartment in a very safe upscale suburb, so I've been helping her look. My sister thinks I'm terrible for even considering letting Mom get an apartment saying "this is the age where you bring them back home..." I honestly think Mom's health, both physical and mental, will deteriorate if she continues living with us because she's bored and doesn't have any real autonomy, so she just sits around and watches TV. If she had an apartment, I think she'd stay busier, like she did in her own house when Dad was alive. Am I crazy and/or inconsiderate for thinking she can live alone ? I honestly don't mind her staying with me, I just really don't think she's "there" yet....she's too independent. Although she seems to be losing that independent spark the longer she stays with us...

Would lawnmower with bent crankshaft still start? And run sometimes?

We brought our lawnmower in because it starts and then shuts right off and it is still under warranty for another week. They said the crankshaft was bent, but the only thing we have ever hit that stopped the motor was about a year and a half ago. Also my brother helped us get it going and it was running fine for about ten minutes before we shut it off thinking it was fixed. Would it work at all if the crankshaft was really bent? We have also had it serviced elsewhere for the same thing and they never mentioned the crankshaft, they said it was the carburetor, it was dirty because our yard is so dusty. They cleaned it and it has been fine until now. I just don't get how if it is basically junk my brother who is not a mechanic of any sorts could get it running.

I've only taken one AP before, Art History, and I didn't think it was too bad but I know these are much more challenging course loads. I was thinking of taking just regular honors calculus instead, but I'm not sure. In addition, it's my senior year-- I'm probably not going to want to do most of my work the second half of the year since it won't really count. Is it worth taking all these cles? I'm feeling out of control- help please?

for the past couple of months or so, I have been feeling really wierd. I'm so tired all day, and i can't seem to get anything accomplished anymore. All I want to do is stay home and watch tv or sleep. I can't meet any of my deadlines, and my schoolwork is starting to suffer. Also, I've been having an eating problem. I start the day with a normal-sized breakfast, then for some reason around lunchtime, no matter how bad i feel from the other day's binge, I start eating everything I can get my hands on. I really doubt it's poor self control, because it does NOT feel good! I eat to the point where my stomach hurts and I feel like I'm going to throw up, but I don't because I really don't want to go down that road:( I'm starting to gain weight, but I feel like I'm completely powerless to do anything about this! I feel like I've hit rock bottom and I'm really worried that this isn't going to get better. Anything you can say to make me feel a little better would be so appreciated! this doesn't really feel like a qestion for friends and family because i'd probably make them really uncomfortable

So my husband wanted a child really bad, he's only 22 and he wanted a son and now he has a healthy 2 month old son. But he never really wants to take care of him everytime he's around him it seems like the only talkin is "shut up" or "hush" and our son is really a good baby, he doesn;t really talk to him it seems like he never wants to hold him, especially the days he's workong it seems like i have to give him to my husband or he doesn't interact with him at all. It seems like he's always pushing him to the side, when we're layin in bed and cuddling, he always puts our son on the other side of the bed.he doesn't get up if he's makin noises, like sometimes when they're havin trouble swollowing they're spit and stuff and they can't breathe for a sec and then he screams really bad cuz he's scared, he doesn't get up to check on him he says " i don't wanna er his ***" when he's cryin he doesn't really try to figure out what's wrong he says" just ignore his *** "he never rocks him to sleep, our son barely wants that anyway. Anyone have a cure for boredom?

Over the past several months I have become increasingly bored. I first started to read good sized books, but realized i read fast and would finish it in around two days. So I started to lengthen my work outs, but i find that after a while I'm just wasting time. I tried a few instruments and realized that I'd rather listen to music than make it. I seem to have a lot of time in between cles and my sports practice. When i go out with friends, it just seems to be the same thing but on a different day. Any one have any ideas?

My 45 hp Mariner, (mid 80s 4 cyl) runs great at low to mid range but after half a minute or so of high speed running loses rpms. I can run on 1/2 to 2/3 throttle fine. The fuel filter and lines are good. Would a weak fuel pump cuase this? I dont want to change something only to find it was not the problem. Thanx

Please help! Another crisis! Family member ped away.?

Okay, long story short. My grandpa ped away and my boyfriend and his family were nice enough to come and stay the full time of the viewing and they were the only ones who sent such beautiful flowers I have ever seen in a very different shape. The flowers cost $200.00. Him and his family are very high cl. Instead of sending them one of the thank you cards that the funeral home provides you, I had to go and purchase regular thank you cards from the store and send them since they were very thoughtful by what they did. Well, I went and bought just a plain simple, nice card that only cost $2.00, BUT it had all the appropriate wording coming from my family. I always buy nice big expensive cards, but for this certain occion, they dont really sell sympathy thank you cards, so I got a regular one that sounded decent. If I went and bought a big extravagant expensive card, it wouldnt of had the correct wording. They were all too mushy and just werent right. So I bought a plainer cheap card and mailed it. My boyfriend received it in the mail today and went off on me telling me that how dare I send a cheap piece of crap card to his house after he and his family stayed the whole time and spent $200 on flowers! I did the right thing and went out and hand picked a card personally and it wasnt good enough for him! What does he want from me? Was he expecting just a personal more thoughtful card from me by myself maybe? But this was from my whole family with the appropriate wording. He told me that him and his mom didnt like the card. He took the card and ripped it! Please tell me who is wrong in this situation? Should I have done more? He makes me feel so bad and embared.He always has me over every weekend and the family does everything for me and treats me like their own. But was that still necessary?

Well the UFC is very unique in the way it signs and fires its fighters. They actually take into account if a fighter can fight against the top competition in there division now or in the future. Thats why i believe they will not bring him back because despite what Cro Cop says he is getting older and cant hang with lesner, carwin, ect. However i can see strikforce taking a shot at him because the matchups that they draw are for money puposes only. whether or ot cro cop accepts a fight with fedor is up to him but if he says he will retire i believe him. I would guess, that your have a weak oil pump as it turns with the engine, so the faster the engine rpm the faster the pump and when you idling you have the smallest amount of pressure possible...so thats where I would start, also make sure you check the connections on the sensor itself.

I put my car in the shop to be fixed for smog. The car is old and I was considering selling it for parts, but this guy, who has worked on my friend's cars and has a good rep, thought he could fix it and for less than the other quote I had. Now, the wiring harness he installed hasn't fixed the issue, in fact, he said the emissions are WORSE now, and that it may be the catalytic converter after all ( he had dismissed that possibility earlier, bc it's a fairly new converter, and the wiring harness was so old, he was certain it was that due to other small problems the car had). If so, I'll be back to selling the car for parts and needing a new one. So, if he did the work, but didn't fix the problem, and I still have to sell my car, do I have to pay for the work he did do? I don't want to screw him over, but on the other hand, I would have had a new car by now, and the money I'm spending to "fix" the car, would have been put toward tge new car. Now, I'll be in the hole.

Am I crazy to dream about going to med school? I am a wife and mother...is this too much to handle?

And I work to support my family. I have a wonderful supportive husband who really tries to support me in everything that I do. The major issue is that I keep feeling like I have wasted my life and made less than optimal choices in the past. I feel like I coulda shoulda woulda been something or done something. And I cant live my life like that. I dropped out of university in my third year in 2003 and since then I have had two babies, emigrated and started my life over again and been married. I have a 'career' already. I make decent pay. Just I am not happy with where I am in my life. When I was in university I didnt really make great grades so I pretty much plan to do my core cles over again and get a bachelors and 'once my life calms down'. I just cant sleep at night wondering if this pursuit is futile. I mean when as a mom does your life ever get to the 'calm' stage. I just wonder if this is a pipe dream. My husband is so content in his life. I wish I had that peace. He is supportive of me going to school. Just I feel really embared by this burning desire I have. I feel like people are going to say 'pah, pathetic... you in med school... ha ha'. I am hard working, industrious, and I would say intelligent. I know I have the stamina to do something like this. I feel like I have all this drive and ambition and no where to channel it to. Do you know how hard it is to talk to people about this? I mean I sound like a spoilt stuckup diva. Like regular life isnt good enough for me. But its not like that. I feel like I have wasted talents. I know this will be a struggle. God only knows how we will pay our bills if I do this. I have an injury, and it does not seem to heal. Any advice?

Hi, i'm a 13 yr old sprinter. I started running this year only...at January. The previous week i ran, which was on a sunday, i think i strained or pulled a muscle. I dont know what injury is that, but it is probably in my hamstring group. The problem is that when i run and push myself forward using my feet, theres a sharp pain that can be felt under my gluts. This stops me from running. What injury is this? Can you guys give me some advice? Like how long it takes to heal...how to strech/prevent this injury... what do i do to make it heal faster. I posted this because the injury doesnt seem to heal. For 2 whole WEEKS! I really want to get back to training. I want to win next years sports meet. What should i do? The injury doesnt heal!! Decent. Based on the third movie in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, At World's End isn't really worth checking out unless you're a die-hard fan of the series. Since there wasn't a video game for the second movie-God only knows why-the game developers decided to add it on here. The game does a good job of both recapturing the movies' plot and feel. The voice acting is decent, but the real actors from the films aren't in the game. The soundtrack makes you feel like you're both watching and playing the Pirates of the Caribbean. The best part about this game is its graphics. Characters look like their real life selves, and the environments have high detail to them. The Xbox 360 version is much more attractive, though, since the frame rate is a lot better and the game runs smoother. Where the game fails is in gameplay. The mission design isn't really that fun, since you'll be running around either fending off foes, or searching for a person or lost item. Combat is not that much fun. It's simple on mashing, and the animations look ugly. The game won't take you all that long to beat, and it isn't a very memorable experience. I myself didn't enjoy the game and it isn't recommended unless you must have a Pirates of the Caribbean game.

Yeah I would just give her whole milk, she's almost a year so it will be fine. I am a feeding Mom too and my little guy is amost 10 months, I also use Dr. Browns, lol. Every now and then I give my Son a little milk in his bottle to get his tummy used to having regular milk. Because "cows" milk is a lot different that our milk! So if you can say tomorrow for example give her 2 ounces of whole (only whole) milk and see how she takes it and if she does good then the next day give her 3 ounces. But make it the same temp as your milk so it wont be so surprising to her. :) good luck!

It really depends on her physical development. If she is crawling with her belly off of the ground, has some teeth, is able to swallow and chew the food, then it is fine. My daughter eats a combination of adult food cut up into small pieces (like green beans and carrots, etc.) and second foods. She is 9 months old but only has two teeth and just started crawling normally. We will start the 3rd foods very soon though.

Why does shouting stress me out?

I find that shouting is very stressful, especially when I'm in the middle of it. From time to time, there will be a loud quarrel between family members and I. Most of those times, I feel on edge, and emotional. Enough that I have to remove myself from the situation. At other times, when I am aggravated and end up shouting at someone, I then feel guilty and stressed about what I had just done. I'm put on edge a lot, and don't know if I just have anger issues. Painful knob on back if heel?

Well ever since this last summer a bony knob formed on the the part of my heel. Anyways i havn't thought much of it until lately this week when the left larger knob started to hurt every time i put pressure on it with my shoe or somthing. So at first it didn;t hurt that much and iwent like normal but i played soccer today and it was so bad i had to switch shoes with one of the other players with larger shoes so no pressure would be on the knob. With my son, I was in labor for 3 days and pushed hard for 2 hours..he weighed 9.5 lbs and during pushing, my rectum first prolapsed and then I proceeded to tear straight through ( and )..so sorry, TMI, I know! I am now pregnant with my second and due in Feb. My question is, does anyone know if because this prolapse and tear happened once, am I more likely to experience it again? im 13 years old a male 61 inches high and weigh 130 pounds last week i weighed 128. my waist size is 38 inches. im gaining weight really quick, i dont know why either.
